The National Theatre has announced the next production to feature in its NT At Home season of free streamed plays.
The venue is currently showing political drama This House on its YouTube channel, with the Donmar Warehouse production of Coriolanus – starring Tom Hiddlestone – taking over from 7pm tonight.
The next production will be The Madness of George III, with Mark Gatiss in the title role in Nottingham Playhouse’s production, available to watch free online from June 11 at 7pm.
Over at Shakespeare’s Globe, you can catch The Merry Wives of Windsor for free until Sunday. From Monday that will be replaced with their 2013 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The theatre’s Bollywood-infused 2016 production is also available online, as part of the BBC’s Culture in Quarantine package on iPlayer, where you can also catch recordings of The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, Othello, Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Hamlet, all performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The Canadian Stratford Festival also has a number of filmed performances available to watch for free on its YouTube channel.
