Norwich’s Theatre Royal has released the first batch of shows for its Interlude season of shows staged in a big top in the city’s Chapelfield Gardens.
Headline act comedian Jimmy Carr will do two 80 minute shows on Friday, August 28, with tickets at £27.50, but the longest run is Nimmo Twin’s member Karl Minns.
He will bring his She Does It In A Tent… With Friends show to the circus tent venue for a total of 12 shows, with an opening run from August 10 to 16, and then further shows on September 5 and 6. Tickets cost £20.
There is also comedy from Paul Chowdhry, performing twice on September 3 (£16); Rachel Parris (£15) on September 9; and musical comedy from La Voix (£22) on September 15.
The Joe Ringer Band will perform a Legends of Jazz show on September 16 and 17 (£20), and folk music from a double bill of Christina Aldern & Alex Patterson, and The Shackleton Trio (£12) on September 11.
Poet Luke Wright will perform a new show on September 12 (£12).
The Garage will take over the tent on the mornings of August 13 to 16 and August 19 to 21 for the family friendly My First Show: Little Bo and Her Missing Sheep, a 50 minute show aimed at children under 7 (£12.50 / £7.50).
