Norwich-based festival strand Wild Paths has launched a one-off Wild Fields festival to replace its planned 2020 events.
Last year’s inaugural Wild Paths festival saw a series of gigs at multiple venues across the city, whereas the 2020 version features a more traditional festival in a field.
The two day event will be held at the Norfolk Showground on the weekend of September 12-13 2020 running from midday to 11pm each day, with two stages of music followed up by DJ sets.
Day tickets are being offered for 3m square pods, with the per-person price dropping from £40 for a single attendee down to £27.75 per person for six people booking together, with free tickets for under 15s.
Attendees are being encouraged to ‘pimp their pods’ with fairy lights and other decorations.
The line up for Saturday, September 12, includes Gengahr, Another Sky, Indoor Pets, Lauran Hibberd, Spyres, Pin-ups, Anorak Patch, and Gabby Rivers.
On Sunday, September 13, the main stage will host Kokoroko, Joe Armon-Jones, Jordan Mackampa, Olivia Dean, Nebula Sun, Maya Law, Galli, Kitty Perrin, and Alysha.
DJ sets will come from Bloghaus and Soul Stew.
The festival is planning to return to its multi-venue format again next year, with a city-based event in October 2021.
