Ground-breaking Norfolk based performance collective KlangHaus will bring a brand-new version of their ‘domestic gig’ show to Norwich over the new year period.

In the unusual shows, barriers between performers and audience are dissolved with live music from Norwich-band The Neutrinos – ranging from pin drop quiet to full on loud and back again – set to original films and projections by artist and film-maker Sal Pittman.

There will be 21 personal performances of KlangHaus: InHaus – The Last Haus on Earth in late December and early January in a private house in the Norwich Lanes.

Versions of the show have previously been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Co-devisor/singer Karen Reilly said: “Last Haus on Earth invites you on a journey from ‘make-yourself-at-home’ to the microcosmic metropolis, through the deep and blue and breathless, to space and stars. The shows are performed within our domestic setting, divided by film screens, projections, instruments, smoke and mirrors. We want to make it a warm and heartfelt welcome to 2025 and all its possibilities. Holding out a hand to lift you from the darkest nights of the year.”

  • The shows will take place 27-30 December 2024 and 2-5 January 2025, with two or three shows daily. Tickets at £23.50 and include a pre-show drink, bookable at https://klanghaus.co/
