Suffolk roots and blues festival Red Rooster has confirmed more of its 2023 line up, with Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at the top of the bill.
The festival will run from June 1 to 3 at Euston Hall, with the Mississippi Grammy Award winning blues artist headlining.
He will be joined by roots and blues act Fantastic Negrito, rock n roll duo His Lordship, and rocky country singer Nikki Lane.
The festival main stage will also play host to the Take Me to the River All-Stars, which features vocalist Marcus Scott (Formerly of Tower of Power), Sharde Thomas and Rising Sun (granddaughter of Otha Turner), Big Chief Bo Dollis Jr. of the Wild Magnolias (the son of Big Chief Bo Dollis), and guitarist Isaiah Sharkey (John Mayer, D’Angelo), and anchored by the Hi-Rhythm Section.
Other acts on the rooster roster include Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express, Daddy Long Legs, The Nude Party, Nicole Atkins, Sharde Thomas and Rising Star, and Scott H Biram.
Weekend tickets cost £142.45, with accompanied teens eligible for discount £55 tickets and free entry for younger children.
